The Well

from Role-play by P3CULIAR

/

lyrics

Red, orange, yellow hues
The street was empty
And I felt confused

Near a well, you sat bemused
Wearing a bathrobe,
Holding crochet hooks

---

"Should I jump into the well?"
"Sure, go ahead" I think you muttered.
"Would you even care?"
I asked. You shrugged and never gave answer.

A circle formed above my head
The outline slowly became smaller
Never feeling fright or dread,
My sight lost track of light and color

---

Many odd and subtle cues.
My swollen ego was
placed on a noose

After waking from a snooze,
Jesus hanged above me
And he looked amused

Drowning, sinking and
Sulking -- over and over
